Presentation/ Mission

ISVOUGA - Instituto Superior de Entre Douro e Vouga teaches courses in the areas of Business Sciences, Communication Sciences, Legal Sciences and Technologies. Besides offering the higher technical training necessary for the economic and social development of the country, namely that of the Region between the Douro and the Vouga, ISVOUGA promotes the training of middle/top management capable of providing companies with an applied research and the development of experimental solutions to solve concrete problems. More recently, ISVOUGA has decided to implement learning for life, through the Continuous Training Department, as well as the integration of its students and graduates in the world of work through GIAP - Gabinete de Integração e Acompanhamento Profissional (Career Integration and Follow Up). The relations promoted with companies with the aim of following up students and graduates give us a continuous feedback on their real needs and thus the necessary information for continuous development of our courses.

ISVOUGA is owned by Fundação Terras de Santa Maria da Feira. It is composed of a Council of Founders, a Board of Directors and a Supervisory Board, as well as the Town Hall of Santa Maria da Feira, individualities from the academic milieu and a group of prestigious companies from the region.
